A Park & Ride bus service operates from the Elstow Park & Ride Site, with a direct service to and from the Hospital between 7.00am to 7.00pm, running every 15 minutes, or every 10 minutes at peak times. There are numerous other bus services around Bedfordshire that stop at Bedford Hospital. Buses and Coaches also stop in Bedford Town Centre and Bedford Bus Station, which is about a twenty minute walk or short taxi ride to the hospital. Bus services in and around Bedford
Bedford Midland mainline station is situated about half mile from the hospital and is only a 10-15 minute walk away or short taxi ride.
Bedford St. Johns Station is about a quarter of a mile from the hospital (about 5 minutes walk). Please note that this station may not be suitable for some people as it is unmanned, involves climbing steps to the main road and there is no taxi service from the station.
